What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join and help grow our top notch AP team. The ideal candidate must be able to deliver exceptional service to external vendors and business partners in a fun, energetic and entrepreneurial environment, while adhering to deadlines and performance standards.

 

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be instrumental in creating a customer service driven environment for both our internal and external partners. In order to accomplish this, the Accounts Payable Specialist must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing environments and priorities. The position provides direct support to our internal business partners by processing vendor invoices in a timely and efficient manner to honor the company’s payment obligations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Prepare supplier invoices in Workday, code and route to the correct approvers
  • Conduct audits of employee expense reports
  • Perform regular review of vendor files to maintain the accuracy of remittance details.
  • Collection of vendor data and other required documents for IRS reporting and adherence to company policies
  • Preparation of 1099 forms at calendar year end
  • Interact with internal and external customers in responding to inquiries or report requests
  • Assist in regular SOX auditing requirements

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Experience in an electronic (cloud-based) accounts payable processing environment
  • Experience with Workday or other ERP systems
  • 3+ years’ experience of accounts payable processing experience; procure-to-pay experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting principles; specifically prepaid/amortization schedules
  • Experience with Travel & Entertainment policies and procedures/expense report auditing
  • Experience with the setup and maintenance of the vendor master file/1099 processing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferred
