What We're Looking For

Sitting within 2U’s Content Implementation department, the automation, analytics, and quality group helps identify ways to improve our processes and products to ensure the delivery of high quality content. Reporting to the Senior Director, Content Implementation in 2U’s New York office, the Analytics and Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality across all of our courses and identifying opportunities to improve our workflow.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage a team tasked with testing our new and existing technologies, as well as reviewing asynchronous content for quality assurance and quality control.
  • Identify opportunities for the content implementation team to use new technologies to improve both our workflow and products.
  • Work within 2U’s existing systems to leverage data to create reports and functional information for the rest of the department.
  • Collaborate with 2U’s tech department to enhance current tools to fit the means of the business, as well as pitch new opportunities to improve our products.
  • Oversee the QA/QC process for all non-video asynchronous segments in a course.

The Quality and Automation team requires a keen eye and ear for detail and the ability to be effective within a system of many moving parts. Candidates should have a track record that clearly demonstrates these capabilities. Applicants from any professional domain will be considered, but all those applying should have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university;
  • 5-7 years of work experience in a professional media-production setting;
  • Previous managerial experience required
  • HTML, CSS, and Javascript experience preferred;
  • Professional or personal experience with Web content-development; 
  • Experience handling and tracking digital assets in a collaborative work environment;
  • Ability to perform basic computer setup and troubleshooting tasks;
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills within a fast-moving group
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a positive outlook and a collegial, professional demeanor.
