What We're Looking For

2U is a SaaS company that partners with top-tier universities to power digital degree programs that are as good (or better) than their on-campus counterparts. Rapid growth this year means our Helpdesk is expanding as well, so we’re hiring for a number of true entry level Helpdesk positions. And when we say "true entry level" we mean it. There are no education or work experience requirements attached to this position.


It's a job that's perfect for:

  • Someone fresh out of college looking for their first IT job.
  • Someone working for a MSP who wants to come in-house.
  • Someone working totally outside the IT industry who just needs a shot.

In short, we’re looking for a great communicator who loves technology.  Someone who is motivated to learn, customer-focused and organized.


We're a small Helpdesk with just a dozen people, so you'll be involved in business operations on day one. 2U is a fast growing technology company, recognized consistently by The Washington Post as a top workplace and expanding our public profile daily.  This is an incredible opportunity to get your first 1-3 years of Helpdesk under your belt.  We truly believe in teaching good IT habits and will provide a ton of training and learning experiences.


We’d love if you came in with basic troubleshooting skills for both windows and mac systems and a willingness to be a jack of all trades tech. Copiers, phones, computers, Google Apps, Active Directory, all of it. IT helpdesk is a customer service occupation, so if you hate dealing with people this is not the job for you.


No degree necessary, no experience necessary. You should know basic tech support concepts (like you'd give your family) and assume that you'll learn the rest as you go along.

  • Salesforce
  • Google Apps
  • JIRA
  • PBX or VoIP Telephone systems
  • Microsoft domain tools
  • Single Sign-on and Multifactor Authentication systems
