Who Are We:

2U Faculty Talent Acquisition & Development (FTAD) is designed to create and assist in the management of talent acquisition programs for our University Partners.  We provide sourcing and full cycle recruiting services as well as consultation in the areas of recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention and change management.  We achieve results by assessing, analyzing, revising and changing the current faculty recruitment and retention process.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Sourcing faculty talent for FR&D Recruiters using LinkedIn, our Applicant Tracking System, Trade Associations and other web sources
  • Building searchable pipelines and extensive candidate lists for our University Partners 
  • Collaborating with FTAD Advisors on search strategies 
  • Assisting with the creation of candidate profiles, job descriptions and postings 
  • Scheduling phone screens and interviews for FTAD Advisors and University Partner Administrators   
  • Working with web-based applicant tracking systems, online survey tools and other analytical tools.  (Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Constant Contact)
  • Updating departments and relevant members of the 2U team with information regarding recruitment efforts 
  • Working with the FTAD Director and FTAD Advisors to create and distribute informational materials to appropriate 2U teams and executives
  • Assisting FTAD team in conducting research using web sources and internet tools for various projects as assigned.  This research will primarily relate to faculty talent acquisition, hiring and retention trends, real-world issues and new school programs  
  • Creating and running weekly, monthly and quarterly Recruiting, Operations and Metrics reports relating to faculty recruiting trends using the Applicant Tracking System

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in HR, Business, Communications or Social Sciences preferred 
  • 1- 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • 1-2 years’ experience in recruiting/sourcing for a variety of positions (in an agency setting)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong customer service background
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
