What We're Looking For

The director, university partnerships is responsible for establishing and developing new relationships with Universities with the goal of securing partnerships to expand our partner portfolio. This position reports to the SVP of University Partnerships. This position requires a regular commitment of travel.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage a pipeline for growth opportunities which includes building partnership development strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage the entire sales process and contact approach with prospective university partners
  • Develop and build strong relationships with potential university partners
  • Manage the contact approach throughout the partner development process
  • Represent all facets of the bundled offering throughout the sales process
  • Fully socializing all major deal points through the sales process ensuring university is  aware of what a contract will consist of at time of negotiation
  • Regular travel expected and dependent on potential partnership opportunities

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible sales experience
  • Demonstrated partnership development success/ track record of developing complex relationships from the earliest stages
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills both verbal and written with great interpersonal and organizational skills
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up team environment
  • Track record of project managing complex sales processes
