What We're Looking For

The SVP, Program Management will provide executive leadership and direction to ensure the success of the company’s growing portfolio of programs with our university partners. The desired candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach to building and sustaining effective partnerships and business operations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage all General Managers and University partner relationships, ensuring we have the right relationships in place with senior administration to foster the retention and growth of programs.
  • Create consistent program / account management practices and approach across all our partners and programs.
  • Ensure marketing teams and school refine, tweak or develop product characteristics that match market demand.
  • In partnership with Regional GMs, develop and implement professional development program for General Managers.
  • Advise senior leadership on program issues and initiatives.
  • Ultimate responsibility for P&L of 2U operations related to all programs. Measure performance of company goals and establish targets for improvement.
  • Oversee implementation of strategic plan including marketing/sales, support services, and content development.

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferable.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience managing external clients/partners and leading large scale internal operations.

  • The desired candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach to building and sustaining effective partnerships and business operations.
  • Record of success in building and sustaining effective partnerships with executive level professionals (Dean or Provost in collegiate environment).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Proven success in a matrix management environment.
  • Confident decision making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.

Travel: 25% as needed
