We’re looking for a motivated production artist to join our growing creative team. This position will report to the graphic design manager and work closely with graphic designers and various stakeholders in the marketing department to assist with production of a wide variety of marketing assets for our university partner programs. Assets include file production for front-end web design, digital advertising, emails, photography, and a small amount of print.

 

The creative team is a collection of highly energetic and ambitious individuals who are dedicated to producing the highest quality marketing communications. As a busy department within 2U’s larger brand marketing team, the creative team is responsible for producing creative assets across the company.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Be production support to graphic designers on a range of marketing projects for our higher education partners, including: websites, advertising, emails, presentations, print collateral and brand identity manuals
  • Build organized front-end layered PSD files for web production team
  • Follow existing brand style guides, grids and templates to build out web pages, ads, emails and print materials
  • Ad and image resizing
  • Maintain library of assets in our digital asset management system
  • Layout program style guides
  • Follow precise design direction to accurately produce deliverables to spec
  • Communicate directly with internal stakeholders to successfully and efficiently meet the deliverable requirements of a project
  • Maintaining the visual brand identities of partner schools
  • Continuously discover and share new industry best practices to maximize efficiency
  • Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1-3 years industry experience
  • Mastery of Adobe CC Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience building files for both print and digital
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
  • Must be able to prioritize and multitask while remaining efficient and organized
  • Be responsive, accurate and timely with problem resolution
  • Must be open to feedback and be able to take direction
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills
