Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage the monthly digital marketing budget and projected return on investment across programs and verticals.
  • Evaluate digital marketing performance against KPIs and be able to quickly pinpoint root causes; communicate recommended solutions to media managers.
  • Develop optimization ideas based on data analysis; give direction to media managers on how to best execute and track optimizations.
  • Guide testing and optimization priorities based on business needs and expected impact.
  • Consistently develop and guide the execution of sound A/B and multivariate tests in media and conversion rate optimization; champion statistical rigor.
  • Prepare and review weekly, monthly and quarterly reports against key KPIs.
  • Apply insights gained from other programs and verticals to develop new campaign ideas.
  • Identify risks in business performance, independently develop solutions, and communicate detailed action plans to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the launch of new university programs. Work with agency and internal teams to develop creative, media, audience targeting and bidding strategies 
  • Lead cross-functional projects within marketing; work with external agency and internal teams (internal media, creative, brand, web operations, data science, etc.) 
  • Develop new data-processing and decision-making tools (in SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc) to guide media investments
  • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Potential to manage one or more direct reports

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and lead generation.
  • Must have experience working with media engines, such as Adwords, web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and site testing tools, such as Optimizely.
  • Must have experience implementing creative and conversion rate optimization tests.
  • Experience with developing and guiding a team through learning agenda / priority sheets.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) a plus.
  • Has a Bachelor’s degree (from a business related field is a plus).
  • Has a keen interest in digital marketing (prior experience required)
  • Is adept at problem solving and can balance creativity with analytical skills.
  • Has advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with SQL and databases
  • Has a strong work ethic and doesn’t accept complacency.
  • Demonstrates proactive thinking – always seeking ways to do something better.

Other Attributes That Will Help You in This Role

  • Background or coursework in Statistics, Economics or Business.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing and lead generation.
  • The ability to multi-task, stay organized and evaluate priorities on an ongoing basis.
  • The ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information in a tactful manner.
