Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Proactively source and recruit candidates through direct recruiting efforts – specifically for specialized and highly skilled job positions
  • Identify creative and new avenues for talent such as events, job boards, campus fairs, etc.
  • Construct well-written and personalized LinkedIn messages and emails to attract talent at all levels
  • Prioritize pipeline to recruit proactively instead of reactively
  • Maneuver and optimize the usage of our Applicant Tracking System
  • Compose, monitor and maintain job postings on 2U’s career page and job boards that accurately reflect core competencies as well as the 2U culture
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • 2+ years of experience working as a staffing agency Recruiter required; Corporate Recruiting in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, a degree in Business or Liberal Arts would be great but not necessary
  • The ability and curiosity to understand the many business sectors of 2U: Marketing, Technology, Content, Admissions, Customer Service, Finance and many more
  • The poise and flexibility to stay calm when you have five interviews in one day and someone cancels last minute

Other Attributes That Will Help You in This Role

  • A propensity for relentless customer service, but also the confidence to challenge hiring managers to make awesome hiring decisions
  • Insanely good follow-up skills and the ability to communicate effectively and articulately
  • Interest in the education technology space, a huge plus
