What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join and help grow our team of outstanding professionals. The ideal candidate must be able to balance delivering exceptional performance in a fun, energetic and entrepreneurial environment. The Staff Accountant must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environments and priorities. The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Assist the Accounting team with the day-to-day operations by interfacing with individuals within and outside of the business to ensure proper treatment of accounting transactions
  • Review expense reports and supplier invoices to ensure proper coding to the general ledger, specifically as it relates to capitalized assets
  • Prepare monthly accruals and fixed assets registration & reconciliation
  • Assist with monthly and quarter-end close, including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations and G/L variance analysis
  • Interact with external audit team as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statement footnotes
  • Assist in documentation, performance and monitoring of financial internal controls
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects where needed

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, preferred
  • At least 2 years of accounting-related experience
  • CPA candidate
