What We're Looking For

This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders at 2U techdev organization. S/he will then translate those needs into product requirements and work with an Agile engineering team and consultants for development and delivery. The Product Manager will serve as the business expert who will leverage his/her understanding of the 2U technology and implementation related processes to build the future of 2U’s tech shared systems.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Being the product champion for systems 2U technology organization is using internally, including but not limited to shared technology frameworks and components, implementation systems and tools, user authentication systems, centralized design repos etc.
  • Consolidating input from internal stakeholders and working with Engineering and Admin teams to drive superior outcomes
  • Guiding products throughout the full software development lifecycle in Agile environment
  • Driving a set of solutions across various technology functions from conception to implementation by developing a business case, use cases, data dictionaries and flows
  • Creating and communicating vision for assigned product across the team and the organization
  • Serving as liaison between the groups within 2U technology organization
  • Working alongside the engineering team to set development priorities, define and implement a product roadmap through initial launch and subsequent releases

 

Things That Should Be in Your Background

  • At least 4 years’ experience in product management required
  • Experience of direct management/ownership of a product including financial/ROI and strategic roadmap responsibilities.
  • Experience managing products in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with internal technically complex systems.
  • Experience working in Product Management or Business Analyst capacity on shareable tech components, tools and framework is a strong plus
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment with a start-up culture
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%
